Drivers Education Classes with AAAA International Driving School
Stebbins High School CTC driving classes are available via Zoom with AAAA International Driving School. All classes must be completed on the original scheduled dates. Failure to attend the original scheduled dates and times for the entire session may result in the $525.00 registration fee being added to your student's fees if the district covers your child's tuition.
Stebbins High School Career Tech Center will be able to cover the cost for students to complete their state-required driver's education classes and driving hours with our agreement with AAAA International Driving School. To have the $525.00 tuition covered by Stebbins High School, the student must: 1. Be enrolled in a Career Tech class/program, and 2. Have their Temporary Permit (TIPIC) from the Ohio BMV https://www.bmv.ohio.gov
Students not registered in a Career Tech class/program can still register for driving school but must pay the $525 tuition to Stebbins High School.
AAAA International Driving School conducts all classes. All class sessions will be via Zoom. Students must have access to Zoom at home to participate in each class session. Zoom Cameras must be on at all times, or the student will be removed from AAAA driving school classes. Students must actively participate throughout all lessons and attend all six classes on their originally scheduled dates.
To begin, you must be at least 15 years and 5 months old. The teen course consists of 24 hours of classroom and 8 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction. The classes are divided up into six 4-hour classes, labeled A through F. We currently hold these classes virtually using Zoom, students would attend from home using a laptop, tablet, or a smart phone. Class F must be your last class due to the final exam.
To register, please pick up a copy of the AAAA training agreement outside of office B. You will need to submit your registration paperwork to Mr. Berk in office B. Classes are limited to the first 30 students who submit their training agreement completed adequately with a parent/guardian signature and a copy of your Temporary Permit. Registration includes your classes and driving hours.
Students must hold their temps for six months before taking the driver's test.
